CAREgiver Specialist

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s Care
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)

Job description

Need to be available to travel to the Greater Sacramento Area, Davis, Woodland locations on a regular basis for 4-12 hr shifts. Guaranteed 25 hrs a week can go up to 60 hours a week

Home Instead Care Professionals provide a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their homes. These services enhance the quality of life for seniors. We care for you so you can care for our seniors!

Primary Responsibilities: companionship, safety supervision, preparing meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, running errands, personal care, but most importantly it's building relationships.

Work experience: Experienced in all levels of care, able for immeadiate needs, and be able to go into any situation to get care started. Must be a Driver and have reliable Transportation
