HX5 is seeking a qualified Condition Based Maintenance Technician in support of the MDA IRES program at Schriever Space Force Base, in Colorado. The Network Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. This role will perform condition-based maintenance for building mechanical/electrical systems. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of our equipment through advanced monitoring and diagnostic techniques utilizing predictive maintenance technologies such as thermography, ultrasound, and vibration analysis. You will work closely with the reliability engineering team to implement and improve our condition-based maintenance strategies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of our equipment through advanced monitoring and diagnostic techniques utilizing predictive maintenance technologies such as thermography, ultrasound, and vibration analysis. You will work closely with the reliability engineering team to implement and improve our condition-based maintenance strategies. * Will use the CMMS computerized maintenance management system to document work orders. * Conduct regular inspections and tests using predictive maintenance technologies (thermography, ultrasound, vibration). * Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and respond to equipment issues as needed. * Work directly with Reliability Engineers to enhance the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) program. * Interpret data from predictive maintenance tools to identify potential equipment failures and recommend preventive
actions. * Assist in developing and optimizing the predictive maintenance program. * Troubleshoot equipment issues identified through predictive maintenance activities. Salary: The salary range for this position is $69,500 - $94,500 Education and Experience: Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: * HS Diploma (or GED) and eight (8) years of general experience. * Associate's and six (6) years of general experience. * Master's and two (2) years of general experience. * Must have 5 years of industrial and/or condition based maintenance experience. * Computerized Maintenance Management System experience with Maximo, SAP or similar. * Must have all of the following certifications: o Thermography Lvl 1+ o Ultrasound Lvl 1+ o Vibration Analysis Lvl 1+ * Must be able to write/create reports based on inspection findings. * Must be able to climb a ladder and lift 40 pounds. * Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. Desired Requirements: * Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician or Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional certification. * Maximo CMMS experience. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours. Other Position Requirements: * Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position. * Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation. * Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. * This position may require travel up to 25% of the time in support of MDA remote site integration activities.
