DescriptionIdaho National Laboratory is hiring a Program Management Analyst to work in our Special Reactor Concepts department. Our team works a 9x80 flexible schedule with every other Friday off. This is a remote opportunity out of one of the following locations: San Antonio Texas, Nevada, Florida, or Kansas.The Special Reactor Concepts (SPRC) organization is looking for someone to provide program analysis in DoD Operations, Nuclear and Logistics. In this role you will support (C-180) Special Reactor Concepts by collaborating with the PM for Transportation and Logistics to manage transportation logistic activities for DoD customers.Your role will be served by providing support to identify DoD transportation processes and logistics systems to analyze the movement of microreactors. You will have significant experience with nuclear operations, and transportability of nuclear systems within the commercial industry and DoD. While also having a solid understanding of Army nuclear program requirements.You will be asked to lead project integration teams, analyze requirements development for logistics and transportation of microreactors, and provide additional subject matter expertise on asset protection during transportation. You will also support pursuit of new business opportunities related to DoD and national security microreactor applications.Responsibilities Include:Communicate with main collaborators to determine program requirements and goals.Confer with program personnel to identify and resolve problems.Create program status presentations for delivery to customers, sponsors, and other collaborators.Develop program plans including information such as goals, technologies, schedules, funding, and staffing.Collaborate with program managers to develop, integrate, and optimize planning and programming projections.Collaborate with project managers, project controls analysts, planning and financial control specialists.Plan study of work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, or cost analysis.Provide guidance to management or other groups on technical, systems, or process-related topics.Strategize, implement, and maintain program area programs that follow organizational objectives.Develop the program area tools, practices, and policies along with assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement.Ensure projects are aligned with the program area’s plan.Be the Co-lead on all customer engagements with DoD and national security customers on all logistics and transportation activities for the SPRC organization.Support the INL Transportation Program Manager for army requirements development for logistics and transportation of microreactors.Be the subject matter expert on asset protection during transportation.Support pursuit of new business opportunities related to DoD, DTRA, and national security microreactor applications.Mentor junior staff and support intern employment opportunities.You will report to the Program Manager.QualificationsMinimum Requirements: Level 4-Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of experience in Program Management in DoD Operations, Nuclear Programs and Logistics.Level 5-Master’s Degree with 8 years of experience in Program Management in DoD Operations, Nuclear Programs and Logistics.DoD Nuclear Weapons Training, DoD logistics experience, Project Management experience, Nuclear and DoD Army experience.This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Job Information: The pay range for this position is: Level #4 $91,008.00 - $186,588.00 / Level #5 $109,260.00 - $223,908.00.
