DescriptionIdaho National Laboratory is hiring a ServiceNow Platform Architect to work in our Information Technology (IT) department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off. Remote or Hybrid work opportunities may be available for this position.You will design and develop ServiceNow architecture (integrated process, applications, data, and technology) solutions to business problems according to the enterprise architecture direction and standards. Perform technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develop specifications for new products/services, applications, and service offerings. You will report to ServiceNow Solution Delivery Lead.Responsibilities Include:Design, develop, analyze, and maintain overall system architecture, within the cloud environment. Coordinate design and integration of complete solutions including integrations with commercial and other enterprise systems. Maintain in-depth knowledge of new technologies required to provide long-term enhancements to the reliability, performance, and functionality of system architecture.  Develop specifications for new products and services.  Research and recommend technology and information to improve the current systems and meet future mission needs.Perform system design and programming, ensuring that the development is configured within best practices and INL development standards.Model and frame business scenarios that are meaningful and which impact critical business processes and decisions. Develop customizations to integrate applications and federate services across multiple organizations. Provide support to technical resources during execution of projects and solution development.Provide technical direction and mentoring for junior staff to increase their knowledge, skills, and abilities.  Coach members of IT in the effective use of standards and tools within the established architecture.Document best practices; Install, patch and upgrade supporting products; establish policies and document procedures to maintain them.Other responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsMinimum Requirements: Level 4: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer information systems, information technology or related field and and 9 years relevant experience or Master’s and 6 years relevant experience or 15 relevant experience in lieu of degreeDemonstrated understanding of ITIL processes and practicesProfessional experience in an enterprise environment with multiple integration pointsExperience in design and implementation of ServiceNow solutionsServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)Experience integrating vendor/cloud software with in-house systemsDue to job specific access requirements this position requires US CitizenshipDesired Skills:Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL databasesExperience using Jira or similar tool.Experience with Agile, Scrum and Kanban development methodologies.ITIL Foundations Certified V3 or V4 (V4 Preferred) Job Information: The pay range for this position is Level #4 ($109,260 - $223,908 ).
