Indotronix is seeking a Onsite Job - Capability / Systems Engineer Level 4 for a Job Opportunity in Colorado Spring Job Description : The Team is seeking motivated and talented Senior (Level 4) Systems Engineer to join the team. This position is located at either Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO. Program Information: The C2BMC National Team provides technical solutions to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Contract. C2BMC is the integrating element for the Ballistic Missile Defense System and links various sensors and weapon systems. The system provides capabilities to integrate and synchronize missile defense systems and operations, providing a layered defense against multiple ranges of threats and in all phases of flight. Position Responsibilities This is a Capability Engineer position for which the selected applicant will perform the following: - Use case development, and prepare systems engineering artifacts including definition of Epics and Features to be developed by program Cross-Functional Product Teams to implement customer requested capabilities - Support the development and review of interface documents, system requirements, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) development, architectural documentation, system engineering estimates, and author and perform formal and informal engineering reviews - Provide use case development support to junior systems engineering team members to enhance use case skills in the department - Reviewing the content and details of technical products, and acting as a technical interface to MDA working level counterparts on an as-required basis Required Skill Set : Additional required skills required include: • Requirements elicitation, derivation, and decomposition to lower-level subsystems and components • Maintenance of system and component baselines in a requirement management system • Defining the relationships between internal and external components • Communicating system level use cases and associated Epics and Feature relationships to a diverse group of customers, developers, engineers, subject matter experts, and users - Must have a SECRET clearance to start with the ability to obtain a TS Clearance with SCI eligibility - Experience with other Space Domain and Missile Defense Systems is highly desired - Must have the ability to be flexible to support various tasking on short notice Technical Skills Required - Must possess the ability to be part of an integrated team tasked with developing and maintaining the physical, functional, and technical requirements baselines necessary to describe the desired capabilities of an evolving MDS Command & Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) system - Demonstrated experience in mission analysis with skill in development of use cases, sequence diagrams, and SysML modeling in support of MBSE - Experience with Agile Methods, and Epic and Feature definition is a significant plus - Skills generating system/element level functional, performance, and interface specifications to document and control the achievement of the desired capabilities - Skills in logical architecture modeling and/or interface definition, as well as knowledge of cyber security concepts and security accreditation are highly desirable. Education Qualification : Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. Indotronix is an Equal Opportunity Employer
