A candidate must be a high school graduate or its equivalent, complete a recognized MA program at an accredited college or university, become certified within 90 days of hire, poses a functional working knowledge of medical terminology (in English and Spanish), demonstrate basic computer skills, excellent and dynamic people skills, excellent communication skills, and professional confidence. _Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred._
*Your responsibilities* will include but are not limited to:
* Assisting with front office operation including greeting patients, in-processing, data entry, patient care coordination, interactive communication with medical staff.
* Occasionally conducting triage procedures for initial evaluations for musculoskeletal disorders and injuries such as sprains, strains, lacerations, and contusions.
* Safety surveillance procedures such as pulmonary function testing, hearing testing, eye exams, UDS’s, and mask fitting
* Assisting with medical testing, injections, blood draws, and medical screening
* Participate in case management meetings
* Assist with translation
