*Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)*
*Location:* Huron, SD
*Contract Length:* 13 Weeks
*Shift:* Days, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
*Position Overview:*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 13-week contract assignment in Huron, SD. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality anesthesia care in a fast-paced, supportive environment. This position requires a strong background in anesthesia and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical and procedural interventions.
* Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, including patient history, physical examination, and laboratory results.
* Develop and implement anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Monitor patients' responses to anesthesia throughout procedures and make necessary adjustments.
* Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* Provide post-anesthesia care, including monitoring and managing patients as they recover from anesthesia.
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including anesthesia notes and vital signs.
* Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and infection control practices.
*Qualifications:*
* Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
* Valid and unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in the state of South Dakota.
* Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a CRNA, preferably in a hospital setting.
* Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure and professionalism.
*Requirements:*
* Proof of current CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
* Recent malpractice insurance coverage.
* Ability to provide clear, comprehensive documentation and reports.
Job Types: Contract, Travel nursing
Pay: $155.00 - $165.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
