AEROSPACE STRESS ENGINEER

Job DescriptionInfosys is seeking an Aerospace Stress Engineer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.Required Qualifications:Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Wichita, KA or be willing to relocate to the area.Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.At least 4 years of experience in Aerospace Industry as a Stress Engineer.Comprehensive knowledge Stress analysis of Aero structures, Nacelle and EBU systemsExperience in performing Static, fatigue and dynamic stress analysis for Aero structuresExperience in use of classical hand calculation approach to analyze both primary and secondary structuresExperience in providing technical solutions from conceptual to detailed design stage.Use of Finite Element Methods for load extraction and to solve complex engineering problemsParticipate in review meetings with Client, Customer and Suppliers.Experience in Engineering Stress report generation and review.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
