TITLE: Accounts Payable SupervisorLOCATION: Tulsa, OKREPORTS TO: AP Associate ManagerIngredion is hiring an Accounts Payable Supervisor based out of the Tulsa Shared Services Center. The role will be responsible for directing and overseeing the management of the Accounts Payable Invoice Exception Team members supporting US and Canada operations. This role will be leading 10 team members. The Supervisor will be responsible for processing in a high volume and complex invoicing environment and is a key Business Partner to the Procurement organization, Accounting in addition to the Global PTP Process Owner. The Supervisor ensures that the functions operates smoothly, efficiently and contributes to the control of the company expenses and disbursements.As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:Leading the daily activities for the AP invoice exception processes, ensuring adherence to strong internal controls and weekly reporting of key metrics supporting a high level of productivity and results. The position is an integral member of the AP Team.Lead the Accounts Payable Invoice Data Capture & Exceptions management processes, including AP support functions.Drive team toward industry best practices, including optimizing systems, technologies and tools.Hire, -train and develop team members; set performance expectations and manage performanceCultivate a positive work environment within the team, emphasizing teamwork, customer service open communication, and a commitment to excellence.Delegate work assignments appropriately and provide continuous direction daily.Conduct weekly/bi-weekly meetings with direct reports and daily huddles as necessaryEnsure the timeliness and accuracy of the processes and ensure that no aging invoices are left un actioned.Develop key process measures and ensure goals are met.Ensure that all monthly close processes are completed accurately and timely following a closing checklistStrengthen and enforce internal controls to prevent fraud and minimize errors within the team.Ensure company policies and procedures are being adhered to.Communicate all activities to managers and Site Director and escalate important issues, when appropriate.Identify areas of continuous improvement and support the design of solutions using analytical insights.Prepare, Analyze & present the Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs) to managers with the goal of reviewing all performance measures and ensures the attainment of the SLAs.Collaborate with Global PTP process owner to support overall goals and objectives and optimize technologies, where possible.Additional processes include: GRIR resolution, Internal & External Audit Support, reporting & AP/ policy controlsOther duties, as assignedThe Accounts Payable Supervisor - Invoice Exceptions position is well-suited for you if you:Possess a strong Project Management background Strong analytical and technology skillsQualified candidates will have:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or business related field 5-7 years proven experience in Accounts Payable processes, risks, controls, and policy compliance.Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance requirements and financial reporting standardsDemonstrated ability to manage and lead large teamsSkilled in analytical and statistical research and providing analysis and commentary on monthly analytic reportsDemonstrated ability to organize, schedule and successfully manage multiple prioritiesMinimum 3 years of high-volume AP experience with at least 3 years of supervisory experienceStrong Experience is desirable in SAP, Ariba, Esker and Advanced MS Excel UserExceptional attention to detail and accuracy with excellent time management and problem solving skillsGlobal Shared Services environment experience is a plusProficient with resolving Invoice Exceptions, team metrics & reportingWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
