Inova Health Systems is seeking an *Infusion Center Registered Nurse. *
This is a Full Time (0.9 FTE) position. Our infusion nurses work four 9-hour shifts - Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:30 pm.
*This clinic will move to 12-hour shifts in 2025 (6:30a-7:00p)*

*Job Responsibilities:*

Providing direction and guidance to others regarding practice while serving as a resource, preceptor and mentor is of vital importance. Your leadership skills in decision making and problem solving are essential. Your ability to provide comprehensive patient and family education including information about treatments, medications, chemotherapy and other appropriate items, while keeping patients and families informed about all aspects of the plan of care, is required. Working with members of the healthcare team to provide patients and families with appropriate resources and support is expected.
*Additional Requirements:*
* *Work schedule: *Days Vary; 12 hour shifts
* *Education*: BSN or ADN _(If ADN: must complete/obtain BSN within 24 months of start date)_
* *Experience*: A minimum of one year of infusion nursing experience.
* *Certification*: BLS from the American Heart Association & VA RN license; Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification (or must obtain within two years from date of hire)
* Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others. Proficient computer skills required.
