Mid-Level or Senior System Engineer – Technical Director International Systems Management Corp. (ISM) is seeking qualified candidates for Technical Director
support to the US Navy. The selected individual will provide subject matter expertise in the areas of
Hardware and Software Development in support of the Implementation of the Integrated Combat System
Continuous Development / Continuous Delivery Process. Ensure products under development are aligned to
address stakeholders needs as required to support ship deliveries and the implementation of new
warfighting improvements. Educations / Professional Work Experience Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 Years’ experience or 8+ Years Support Supporting Navy Programs Required experience includes: • Manage ICS systems engineering and architecture efforts to support the Re-architecture of heritage combat systems into the ICS architecture with target completion of FY28. • Coordinate across stakeholders on requirements to be developed in the Forge Ecosystem. Scope new requirements and assist in the development of cost estimates. • Coordinate Solution Council meetings for IWS X and ensure that customer requirements are properly scoped for inclusion in ICS Roadmaps. • Monitor and evaluate the Architecture Senate’s progress on creating and updating a low- propagation cost architecture framework. • Establish standards for APIs across the full system stack. • Lead the IWS X risk management process, facilitate executive level Risk Management meetings, track, and monitor TD related risks. Identify risk gaps and seams across the IWS X portfolio and provide mitigation approaches. • Track SBIRs and FNCs for transition to the ICS • Develop executive level presentations • Support task planning, budget exhibit updates, POM cycle efforts • Coordinate across IWS X team to ensure alignment of HW and SW requirements to support Combat System deliveries • Advise on requirements, contract strategy, and process improvements Desired experience includes: • Experience in Navy Combat System Systems Engineering Program Execution • Experience supporting Senior Level Leadership • Experience supporting all aspect of System Engineering Process • Ability to Travel as required to support Program Requirements • Able to obtain a Secret Clearance The position will be located in Washington, DC and require travel less than 20% of the time.
