Responsibilities Job Description: A Cloud Architect has expertise in design, deployment, and management of cloud resources. A cloud architect understands at a deep level the structure and distribution of computing resources in AWS, Azure, etc. Also, will prioritize usage to most efficiently allocate funds and resources for the platform. Job Duties Include (but not limited to): * Effectively collaborate with enterprise architecture, reliability, support, and onboarding teams in building durable systems/applications and ensuring a low Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR) * Lead the automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure teams are following IaC patterns to effect repeatability, consistency, and portability * Collaborate with Enterprise Delivery Managers, Functional Solution Architects, and business teams to architect technology solutions to meet business needs * Collaborate with other technology architects (both application and infrastructure) in influencing the modernization strategy for our platforms and provide guidance on Micro UI, Micro Service, and Orchestration services * Be a hands-on technical architect who will lead the team from the front and be able to inspire thought leadership in the team * Define, communicate, and enforce design/coding standards for our distributed services * Technical governance and design review * Influence and define processes to enable agile transformation within the Cloud team and across the greater Special Operations Forces (SOF) organization * Publish and present architecture to technology leaders and executives Qualifications Required Skills & Experience: * Minimum of 3-5 years of Cloud Architecture experience is required * Deep understanding of the design, deployment, and management of cloud resources in numerous environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) * Ability to prioritize usage to most efficiently allocate resources to maximize developer experiencer and stay within budget * Knowledge of networking, security groups and policy management in relation to cloud resources * Respond to product team needs in a timely fashion * Strong security first mindset * Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
