*Your Experience:*
* A valid Propane or natural gas license. Nora Certification is an asset.
* Knowledge of wiring and plumbing considered an asset.
* Previous heating technician experience preferred.

As a Heating Service Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day servicing of our customers heating equipment. Your goal will be to troubleshoot and perform diagnostic activities regarding service equipment within established policies and procedures.
*Your Role:*
* Maintain, troubleshoot and install oil and propane parts and equipment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve problems that occur by reviewing diagnostics and using the proper tools to complete repairs.
* Provide final inspections of systems once repairs are completed to ensure all equipment is operating safely.
* Complete appropriate daily paperwork for each service call.
* Maintain service truck parts inventory.
* Ensure the service truck is in good working order and reliable.
* Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity.
* Rotational on call shifts required.
*Your Skills:*
* A solid mechanical aptitude.
* Ability to work well with others; good organization and communication skills; attention to detail and strong customer service.
* Frequent driving, climbing in and out of vehicle and working in confined spaces. Some heavy lifting.
* Ability to install various types of heating equipment.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and progress though the daily workload efficiently.
* Strong decision-making skills
