Our Merchandising Team supports our Sales & Delivery Departments by ensuring our products are up to date, our brands are well represented, and our presence stands out in top retailers nationwide. Merchandisers travel to grocery stores to ensure products are stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along their route. Merchandisers help to maintain our relationships in the market by continuing to develop our supplier brands while providing best-in-class service.

Shift

Full-time with start times as early as 4:00 am - 6:00 am including weekends with consecutive days off mid-week

About Island Distributing

Island Distributing joined Reyes Beverage Group in 2023 and operates from four facilities on the islands of Hawaii (2), Kauai and Oahu. We proudly sell and distribute the widest variety of imported, craft and domestic beers, delivering over 8.9 million cases annually to more than 2,300 customers throughout the islands of Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along your route


• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck


• Manage backroom by organizing and consolidating product


• Report backstock inventory levels


• Maintain relationships in the market by providing the best in class service


• Other projects or duties as assigned

Requirements

• A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements


• Must have reliable automobile transportation, maintain an acceptable driving record and valid drivers license, and maintain auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the Company and state law


• Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 170 lbs. when handling keg products


• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
