Senior Process Control Analyst/Instrumentation Supervisor (Vernal, UT)

Supervise, schedule, evaluate, train, and motivate hourly personnel. Maintain high level of confidentiality. The incumbent is also expected to provide leadership in process, organizational, and personnel improvement efforts. He/she will also perform at a high level in positively relating to others and positively representing to others the views of his/her leadership. The incumbent will be a proactive maintenance and operations leader, identifying process and equipment vulnerabilities and creating plans to act upon findings. Key Responsibilities Lead the strategic implementation of Process Control and Instrumentation at the Vernal Mine. Develop a long term plan for upgrades to process control equipment and software. Develop training plan for process control personnel and ensure personnel are up to date with the current practices and technology in process control. Prepare budgets for process control upgrades and maintenance. Ensure that process control is implemented in a safe, organized, and efficient manner. Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure that Simplot's core values are met and that the Vernal Mine's goals are achieved. Supervise process control personnel, ensuring that work is performed safely and efficiently.Typical Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Relevant Experience 3+ years related experience and/or training Other Information Progressive experience in an industrial environment.
