Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you’ll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
• BLS Certification
• ARDMS or ARRT
• Experience with GE VOLUSON sonogram machine
• Comfort providing a verbal prelim to clinical staff regarding significant or concerning findings
• Driver's license must be included in the profile
• Must live 80+ miles from the facility

Assignment Details

• Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8:00p - 6:00a
• Saturday: 7:00p - 6:00a
• 40-41 hours per week
• High volume OBGYN office setting within a hospital
• Scans include confirmation, viability, nuchal translucency, anatomy, growth, biophysical profiles, umbilical artery dopplers, GYN, and follicle scans
• Expect to perform 12+ exams per day depending on provider schedule
• Exams are performed in office and interpreted by OBGYN providers
