Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. ARRT required; AMRIT will not be considered.
- BLS certification.
- MRI advanced level certification and state licensure as required by state regulations.
- Minimum 1 year of recent GE MRI experience. This is required by the client.
- Experience performing a variety of routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients across age groups.
- Experience with MRI safety standards, contrast administration protocols, and image quality evaluation.
- Experience operating and maintaining MRI and associated equipment, including warm-up, calibration, and safety checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Experience assisting radiologists with MR procedures and performing supervisory functions.
Assignment Details
- Weekday shift patterns include 6:00pm–2:30am and 3:30pm–12:00am, Monday–Friday.
- Weekend coverage required. Weekend shift start times include 6:00am, 7:30am, and 10:30am.
- Client requires every weekend coverage of 7:30am–4:30pm.
