Computed Tomography Technologist – Travel Job

Become a vital part of a hospital imaging team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will follow physician scanning orders, administer contrast agents, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 years CT technologist experience preferred by client.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Demonstrated IV skills and experience with power injection required.
• Experience working with GE CT equipment required.
• Experience in high-acuity settings such as trauma, stroke, or fast-paced hospitals preferred by client.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Ability to work inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient populations.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift name: Evenings.
• Duration: 13 week travel assignment.
• Standard hours per week: 20.
• Patient types: Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Department.
• Orientation: 1 day on unit.
• Weekend rotation: every other weekend.
• Call: No.
• Charting/Equipment: EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis.
• Support: Unit has receptionist dayshift; hospitalist/physician available after hours; resident onsite for radiology.
• Workload: Average ~15 scans per day; tech aide and transport aid support on weekends.
