Become a vital part of a Jackson, KY hospital as an experienced CT Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when required, and operate CT scan equipment to provide diagnostic imaging for inpatient and outpatient populations. You will perform routine CT procedures, assist with CT-guided biopsies and drainages, and support fluoroscopy, portable, C-arm, and OR imaging as needed under departmental protocols and radiologist direction.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years CT technologist experience.
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or CT.
- State licensure as a general radiographer where required.
- BLS certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency with routine diagnostic CT procedures including head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and interventional procedures (biopsy/drainage).
- Experience with contrast administration and cross-sectional anatomy.
- Preferred: Experience with fluoroscopy, portable radiography, C-arm, and operating room imaging.
