Jackson HealthPros is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, troubleshoot basic maintenance issues, participate in quality assurance activities, and support efficient patient throughput. The role requires adherence to radiation safety protocols, correct handling and documentation of radionuclides and pharmaceuticals, accurate image processing and PACS management, and professional communication that aligns with organizational values.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) by ARRT or certification by NMTCB required.
  • State licensure required. Louisiana: LRT (N) or LRT (F) by LSRTB.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Basic computer skills required, including experience with PACS and image archiving workflows.
  • Ability to follow PACS downtime procedures and serve as a PACS Superuser when needed.
  • Ability to maintain radiation safety protocols while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals.
  • Willingness to demonstrate flexibility to work other shifts or at other campuses as required.
  • Preferred: 1 year of clinical nuclear medicine experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience troubleshooting imaging equipment and coordinating with biomedical personnel.
  • Prior experience participating in departmental QA programs and competency assessments.
  • Experience supporting radiologists and referring physicians to facilitate physician satisfaction.

  • Shift Hours: 07:00 - 15:30.
  • Work Days: Monday - Friday.
  • Weekend Requirement: None.
  • On Call Requirement: None.
  • Expectations to work other shifts and at other campuses as needed or required.
