Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a hospital setting in Scarborough, ME.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent.
- CNMT or ARRT(N) certification and an active state nuclear medicine technologist license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 3 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience.
- Experience with general nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology, oncologic PET imaging, SPECT/CT, and Siemens camera systems.
- Ability to work alongside full-time staff and function in a team-oriented, patient-centered environment.
- Willingness to possibly float between inpatient and outpatient nuclear medicine and PET imaging locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a 700-bed hospital setting or high-volume nuclear medicine department.
- Experience using Epic and NMIS or similar EMR systems.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 06:30–15:00.
- Work schedule: Monday through Friday, no weekends, no call.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 40.
- May float between inpatient imaging at the main hospital and outpatient imaging; typical drive time between locations is approximately 10 minutes.
