Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Alabama Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience evaluating and developing treatment plans for acute care or inpatient hospital populations preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency with documentation, goal writing, and discharge planning in an acute hospital electronic medical record preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide patient and family education.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital.
  • Shift: Day (5x8).
  • Duration: 13 Week assignment.
  • Clinical Role: Provide comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document per hospital standards, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
  • May be required to cover or float to other facilities within the client network as needed.
