Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Arlington, TX. We seek a dedicated clinician to assist patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities to regain or improve daily living and work skills. This opportunity involves treating in-patient rehab and acute care populations across neuro, ortho, telemetry, and ICU settings while working with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Texas OT license required to start the assignment. No temporary licenses accepted.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required. Must have in-patient rehab and/or acute hospital experience.
  • Experience performing in-patient rehab occupational therapy evaluations and treatments for neuro and ortho patients.
  • Experience with acute care evaluations and treatments including ortho, telemetry, and ICU patients.
  • Familiarity with Meditech documentation system preferred.
  • Ability to follow facility dress and professional appearance policies (scrub color: hunter green; nail, hair, tattoo, and piercing guidelines).


Preferred Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in rehab and/or acute hospital settings preferred.
  • Prior experience floating between units as needed.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 0800–1630.
  • Weekend schedule: rotating weekends.
  • Floating: may float to other units as needed.
  • Documentation system: Meditech.
  • Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide patient-centered occupational therapy in both in-patient rehab and acute care settings. Deliver assessments, develop treatment plans, implement therapeutic interventions, and document outcomes. Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and medical teams to support safe discharges and functional recovery. Adhere to facility policies and unit-specific guidelines to maintain quality and safety.
