The System Architect position will be rewarding as you work on a team with us and a Government customer where we will be providing support on a large program that will directly impact the sustainment of analytic work orchestration capabilities while providing integration, governance, release train management, deployment, Operations and Maintenance (O&M), development of Orchestration Services, acceptance testing, and sustainment of new capabilities to the operational baseline. You will grow the relationship between us and the Government Customer, building trust and dependency. You'll be responsible for working on the program's critical environments and alongside a technical support team of Engineers and Developers. Responsibilities: * Responsible for ensuring the system architecture supports the defined business needs and aligns with the organization's higher strategic intent. * Ensure analysis of alternatives are conducted and prioritized to ensure the Government properly architects' business and mission solutions using optimum systems and services. * Ensure that the ART is aligned with the organization's technology landscape. * Define and support the implementation of enabler capabilities, consistent choice and use of technologies, regulatory compliance, standards, and higher-level Nonfunctional Requirements (NFRs). * Ensure that system design evolves in line with a shared architectural intent and the practical reality of implementation and work with other groups to establish optimal architectures and processes for system integration and testing. * Support DevOps and Continuous Delivery Pipeline * Foster Built-in Quality and Attend to NFRs * Evolve System Design with team * Align Architecture with business priorities * Elaborate the system architecture * Validate technology assumptions * Define and communicate system architecture vision #divergent Here's what you'll need: * Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph * Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or 5 years of experience as a Systems Architect. * 5 years of experience in systems architecting. * Working experience designing, implementing, and operating in a DevSecOps environment of comparable size and complexity * Hard working professional with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a timely and efficient manner. * Demonstrated ability to continuously learn and work independently, making decisions with minimal supervision. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an enthusiasm for working in a highly-collaborative setting - sharing best practices, lessons learned, and assisting where gaps exist. Preferred: * Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program. * Understanding of object-oriented software with languages like Java, C , Python or Ruby ideally in SOA applications * Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience * One or more Certifications to include, but are not limited to the following: * Cloud Certified Solutions Architect * AWS Certified * Cisco Certified Networking Administrator - Cloud * Cisco Certified Network Professional - Cloud * IBM Certified Cloud Solution Architect * MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure
