Data Architect JANUS Research Group is seeking a Data Architect to design a system's data models, data flow, interfaces, and infrastructure to meet the information requirements of a business or mission. * Develop and implement overall organization data strategy that is in line with business processes and objectives. * Identify data sources, both internal and external, and work out a plan for data management that is aligned with the data strategy. * Monitor and optimize the data infrastructure. * Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating operations, applications, and programming. * Prepare database design and architecture reports. * Advise higher level leadership on critical data management issues. * Consult with customers and key stakeholders to evaluate functional requirements for Artificial Intelligence and data applications. * Collaborate with appropriate personnel to address classified data requirements and configure technical solutions to provide data integrity and security. * Provide recommendations on new database technologies and architectures. * Evaluate data storage requirements, prepare, and implement data backup, recovery and secondary data storage and disaster recovery. * Plan and manage effective storage capacity strategies. * Confer with systems analysts, engineers, system owners, etc... to design applications for data management. * Analyze and plan for anticipated changes in data capacity requirements. Qualifications: * Recommend bachelor's degree in data management or information technology. * Requires DoD cyber certification as an IAT level II. * Experience aligned to DoD Cybersecurity Workforce code 653 (data architect).
