Senior Sales Account RepresentativePurpose and Scope/General Summary:We are seeking a Senior Sales Account Representative to join our JBS Prepared Foods team at JBS.The ideal candidate will be located in Ohio, Indiana, or Illinois.Responsibilities:Manage business unit current and future customer accounts across multiple domestic channelsUse product and market knowledge to generate salesDetermine customer needs and match new product and programs to address account goalsGive pricing quotes and modify prices necessary to deal with specific customer needsCollaborate with field sales team to develop new accounts and move accounts up the value chainWork with margin management to increase sales marginContact accounts daily to discuss the availability and pricing of individual productsResponsible for following market conditions and recognizing market trendsThorough understanding of customer entire organizational structure and merchandising strategyUnderstand all accounts in department to make the team strongerOther duties as assignedQualifications:BS/BA degree preferred with a major in one of the following: Agri Business, Meat Science, Business, Marketing, Ag Econ or Animal ScienceMinimum 5 years or more previous meat sales experience or comparable fieldFoodservice sales experience strongly preferred.Excellent phone and strong presentation skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Detail OrientedOffice EnvironmentMust be willing to travel around 50%.Microsoft Office applications a must.Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodationAs a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
