Tax Consultant

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. As a Tax consultant you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Tax Compliance and Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr Tax Consultant

Location: 100% Remote

Pay Range: $75/HR 

What's the Job?

• Oversee and manage outsourced personal property tax providers to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Review all personal property tax returns prepared by external firms for completeness and correctness
• Manage relationships with external vendors, providing guidance and support throughout the tax cycle
• Ensure timely filing, reconciliation, and payment of all personal property tax liabilities across multiple jurisdictions
• Maintain organized records of filings, notices, and correspondence, supporting internal audits and reporting

What's Needed?

• 5–7+ years of experience in personal property tax with strong technical knowledge
• Previous experience reviewing tax returns and managing compliance workflows
• Proven ability to manage relationships with external tax providers or vendors
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
