The ideal candidate will have experience in a range of the big data space and technologies and stays on top of new development, trends and applies data engineering and science into the marketing and sales organization. Responsibility• Work with cross-functional team members to identify and prioritize actionable, high-impact insights using data and ML/AI solution • Design and build data pipeline for ML/AI that are robust, modular, scalable, deployable, reproducible, and versioned • Manage data infrastructure to source and curate data from disparate sources using appropriate engineering methodologies, computational frameworks and systems; and improve accessibility, efficiency, governance, processing, and quality of data • Identify innovative ways to source & leverage data to support modeling efforts and to scale, optimize, and refactor existing tools and workflows • Subject matter expert to leadership for technical guidance around data and analytics solution design and best practices. • Improve speed to market by focusing on current data needs as well as building out the long-term strategic data solutions using modern data technologiesQualification• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information system• Strong programming skills; proficient in Python / R / SQL • Proven experience building data pipelines in production for advanced analytics use cases • Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark or other open source big data tools • Experience with developing APIs to support public-facing web applications • Practical experience with UI development, such as R shiny or Python Dash / Bokeh / Jungle or Web app development with Java / CSS / HTML • Familiar with distributed computing frameworks (e.g. Spark, Dask), cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, and analytics libraries (e.g. pandas, NumPy, matplotlib) • Experience with real-time data streaming tools like Kafka, Kinesis, Apache Storm or any similar tools. • Practical knowledge of software engineering concepts and best practices, inc.
