JAVA/CLOUD SOFTWARE ENGINEER L2 WITH SECURITY CLEARANCE

Duties: * Use leading edge technologies to develop analytics pulling data from multiple cyber sources as well as classic SIGINT. * Develop prototypes answering new questions as well as providing better answers to existing questions. * Develop new ways to represent the data using data science methods and automating analytic processes using machine language frameworks. * Work directly with the customer in a highly collaborative, integrated environment. * Design, develop, test, deploy, and document big data cloud computing workflows. * Developing answers to questions via Java MapReduce, making them available via the corporate tool suites. * Research and work with multiple platforms for developments. * Work in a cohesive, small team environment. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: * A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph is required. * Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience. An Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position * Computer Science (CS) degree or related field * Strong Java skills, developing software in Red Hat Linux (versions 3 - 5+) * Experience with Java Pig, MapReduce * Experience with technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, etc. * Experience with distributed scalable Big Data Store (No SQL) such as H Base, CloudBase/Accumulo, Big Tables, etc. * Experience with Hadoop Distributed File Systems (HDFS) Preferred: * Knowledge of IP Protocols and Network topologies * Experience with GHOSTMACHINE analytic development * Experience with Jira, Maven, and Git
