Are you ready to make a significant impact in our plant environment? Located in Wyoming, MI, our plant is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Mechanic to play a vital role in identifying and preventing issues, ensuring the safety of our employees and products. This on-site role offers a starting hourly pay rate of $38.34, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus. You'll be part of a dedicated team focused on safety and continuous improvement, working night shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM with a 3-day weekend every other weekend.

You'll also have the chance to work closely with leadership and participate in stretch projects that drive plant efficiency and cost savings.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining Equipment and Enhancing PLC Knowledge: Alternate between troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and on-the-spot machine repair.
- Analyzing Conditions and Providing Solutions: Identify and examine production equipment failures to understand root causes, interpreting schematics and drawings.
- Prioritizing Innovation and Communication: Actively seek ways to improve plant efficiency and cost savings, maintaining open communication with your lead and supervisor.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- High School diploma or GED
- Journeyman’s or 4 years of equivalent experience
- Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Sitting, standing, walking, lifting (50 lbs.), and/or repetitive tasks throughout the day
- Previous experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing setting
- Experience in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
