Direct Hire Area Service Technician 
Hours: 9am to 5pm + OT (M-F)
Pay: Salary based on experience 
Location: California, USA

**Required to travel Monday through Friday across the entire state of California**

The Area Service Technician will handle service repairs, service bulletins, and training classes, representing the company's core principles. Reporting directly to an Assistant Service Manager, this role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing various components and operating systems on the company's products and related equipment. 

Duties:
  • Identify and resolve issues with equipment, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform repairs, adjustments, and routine maintenance on various components and operating systems. Disassemble and reassemble components as needed.
  • Engage professionally with internal and external customers to provide exceptional service and support.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area, toolboxes, and company vehicle(s).
  • Inspect, repair, and overhaul components to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by the Assistant Service Manager.

Requirements:
  • Ability to handle prolonged physical exertions, including lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in tight or awkward positions. Must lift weights exceeding 50 pounds.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair, with at least 2 years of experience in servicing vehicles and equipment. Diesel vehicle experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with repair manuals, electrical diagrams, and schematics for troubleshooting and repairs. Familiarity with using a computer.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with customers.
  • Must possess basic hand tools necessary for assigned tasks.

Qualifications:
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States and at least 18 years old.
  • Minimum 3 years of service repair experience, including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, industrial skills, and some PLC and HVAC knowledge.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Completion of pre-employment testing and background check.
  • Must be able to read and speak English.
  • No travel restrictions.
  • Customer service skills to ensure professional and effective interactions with all stakeholders.
