Salary plus commission: $60K base

Seeking a motivated Territory Manager to join expanding team.
As a key player in our sales force, you’ll manage a defined geographic region, build lasting relationships with clients, and identify new business opportunities.
If you have a proven track record in sales and a deep understanding of the flooring industry, this role is for you!

What You’ll Do:
Sales Management:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets within your assigned territory.
  • Identify and engage potential customers, including contractors, builders, retailers, and distributors.
  • Conduct persuasive product presentations and demonstrations, showcasing the unique benefits of our flooring solutions.
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts and clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Conduct regular client visits to gather feedback, understand needs, and anticipate future requirements.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Analyze sales performance and prepare detailed reports on market conditions and customer feedback for senior management.
  • Adjust sales strategies based on data analysis to continuously meet and surpass sales targets.
Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Partner with marketing and product development teams to share insights on customer preferences and emerging market trends.
  • Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and address any delivery challenges.
Training and Support:
  • Educate clients and partners on product features, installation techniques, and best practices.
  • Stay informed about product updates and industry trends to serve as a knowledgeable resource for clients.

Qualifications:
  • Sales Expertise: Previous sales experience required, preferably in the flooring industry.
  • Critical Thinker & Problem Solver: Ability to analyze market data and devise effective sales strategies.
  • Relationship Builder: Proven track record of cultivating long-term client relationships and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication: Captivating presentation skills and the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable using a laptop/tablet for sales activities.
  • Mobility: Ability to travel extensively within the territory, with reliable transportation capable of carrying product samples.
Education & Experience:
  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred: Experience in the flooring industry is a plus.
