Job Title: Material Handler/Receiver

Location: Falmouth, MA

Hours: Monday - Thursday 3PM to 12am and Friday 12pm to 6pm

Pay: $18 Per Hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler/Receiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling inventory tasks, including picking and packing items using a cart and scanner, assembling product kits, and organizing materials in the stockroom. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our supply chain operates smoothly by maintaining accurate inventory levels and timely processing of orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving: Accept incoming deliveries, verify the accuracy of shipments, and organize stock in designated areas.
  • Picking and Packing: Accurately pick items from inventory using a scanner and picking cart, and pack them for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging standards are met.
  • Kitting: Assemble product kits as per specifications, ensuring that all components are included and correctly prepared for shipment or assembly.
  • Stockroom Management: Maintain an organized stockroom, ensuring that products are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible.
  • Inventory Control: Conduct regular cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and assist with inventory audits.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect products and materials for damages or defects, ensuring that all items meet quality standards before shipment.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM
  • Friday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Compensation:

  • Starting at $18 per hour, with opportunities for higher pay based on experience and demonstrated skills.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in material handling, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Ability to operate a scanner and follow detailed instructions for picking and packing items.
  • Basic knowledge of stockroom organization and kitting processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move items as needed (up to [weight limit] lbs.).
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
