What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be:
• Operating diverse types of equipment used to manufacture various types of medical devices
• Setting up molds on the bed as a pour operator
• De-slagging and ensuring proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when taking the temperature of the pot as a pour operator
• Cleaning beds and removing ceramic from the sand as a pour operator
• Operating machinery and utilizing manual equipment for blasting, etching, and belting processing of medical devices
• Multi-tasking to maximize equipment cycle times and prevent idle time
