Kelly® is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Technician to work at a premier leader in Construction Equipment, Off Highway Equipment, and Agriculture Equipment in Fargo, ND on direct hire basis. Pay Rate: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

What’s a typical day as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Technician? You’ll be:
• Repairing and maintaining diesel engines and diesel components used in various vehicles and equipment.
• Accurately and efficiently diagnosing complex diesel engine conditions and making necessary repairs.
• Communicating effectively with peers, foreman, and service team regarding repairs.
• Ensuring maximum customer satisfaction through quality control of work performed.
• Operating equipment to diagnose problems and inspect equipment for defects.
• Repairing and maintaining heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and dozers.
• Performing minimal welding as required.
• Responding to after-hour emergency calls as directed by supervisor.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a valid driver's license (Bonus compensation for CDL holders).
• Possess a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and reliability.
• Have experience with diesel engine platforms such as Cummins, CAT, and International (a plus).
• Have other mechanical skills such as hydraulics, brakes & suspension, manual transmissions, drive train, and automatic transmissions (desired but not essential).
• Are physically able to lift and work with no restrictions.
• Have a technical degree or certification (a plus).
• Have knowledge of construction equipment maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, gasoline, and record-keeping.
• Have MSHA certification.
