Talent Engagement Manager

Kelly Services is partnering with a prestigious University in Cleveland Ohio. We have an immediate opening for a Talent Engagement Manager.  This is temporary to potential full-time opportunity
Pay: $23 per hour
Schedule:  8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The Talent Engagement Manager plays a critical role in overseeing all talent management activities within the division of University Relations and Development.
  • This position supports the senior director, vice president for development administration and strategic engagement, and the rest of the division's senior leadership team.
  • The manager ensures the integrity and smooth operation of talent management processes, designs, and implements new procedures, and maintains compliance with university policies.

    Essential Functions
    1. Partner with senior leadership to develop a recruiting plan that attracts top talent, collaborating with central human resources and hiring managers to source qualified candidates.
    2. Provide guidance on assessing skill set needs, skill levels, and skill gaps, as well as team effectiveness and retention initiatives.
    3. Collaborate on designing career pathways and ongoing training programs to retain top performers and address staff development needs.
    4. Contribute to organizational structure redesign, succession planning, position creation, and effective communication planning.

    Qualifications:
    - Experience: 3 years of professional experience in human resources, management, or a related field.
    - Education: Bachelor's degree.

    3. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
