What’s a typical day as a Packaging Machine Operator? You’ll be:
• Starting up equipment, making minor adjustments to machinery, removing jams, performing minor troubleshooting, and minor assembly/disassembly for cleaning purposes.
• Performing manual visual, cosmetic, and physical inspection of material.
• Promptly escalating concerns to Lead and Manager/Supervisor as needed.
• Using material handling equipment such as motorized and manual pallet jacks, non-motorized lifts.
• Performing cleaning, housekeeping, and line clearance activities for assigned areas to maintain a cGMP environment.
• Performing batch record and GMP documentation entries.
• Maintaining records and/or logs as required in the performance of job responsibilities.
• Adhering to product security controls and using material handling equipment properly.
• Ensuring outgoing quality level.
• Performing work requirements in a responsible manner, following SOPs, GMPs, and established safety procedures in accordance with OSHA requirements and guidelines.
• Obtaining knowledge to be able to print off SOPs/Forms via ECMS.
