Responsibilities The Programmatic Financial Expert will proactively engage members both inside and outside of your team, demonstrating strong communication skills. Building comprehensive budget and project management tracking tool; leveraging sum-if, linked tables, pivots and slicers as needed, and patience and attention to detail to ensure keyed in information is accurate to maintain the integrity of the workbook, demonstrating mid to expert level MS Excel knowledge and abilities. Generate standard weekly and monthly financial slide decks to report the same data points consistently and demonstrate change over time. Working within agile frameworks, such as Scaled Agile Framework. Demonstrate initiative in continuing to engage government SMEs until answer is obtained; be a self-starter in developing novel approaches to execution and tracking. Work within high technology areas, such as computer science, data science, autonomy, and artificial intelligence and understanding of the requirements to support drafting of performance work statements for government review. Monitor contract burn down of various performers based on actual invoices; and ability to offer comparison to perceived burn down based on accounting system data. Major Duties/Tasks: * Support administration/operations and project management functions for A2/JATIC. * Demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter, able to work in a highly collaborative, virtual, and versatile environment handling an array of duties and responsibilities with particular focus on organization, coordination, process management, and multi-tasking abilities. * Administration/Operations - execution of day-to-day requirements, such as management of schedules, calendars, databases, documents, distribution of information, data input, reporting, and document control. This could also involve complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, technique, models, and/or systems related to management problems. (2.2.1) * Create, maintain, and organize the division financial information using existing tools (MS Office, Qlik in Advana) or by recommending new tools that are compliant with Impact Level IV and can be deployed on the DoDIN. * Maintain accurate financial information and pursue the execution of requirements for current year funds; actively pursue guidance and direction to responsibly expend available funds as early as possible. * Determine how to trace expenditures to projects and programs; ensure burn down dates are apparent in standardized reports and analysis and other in-depth financial analysis as requested. * Project Management - assist in planning, developing, testing, and documenting projects, to include applying business process improvement practices, modernizing projects, acquisition process/planning, and reengineering old methodologies/principles. Support agency teams in development and management of project milestones, goals, and deliverables. (2.2.4) * Support POM development, gap analysis, issue paper development, CAPE issue team justification briefings and other in-depth financial analysis as requested. * Build strategies and create documentation on current organizational financial processes for potential automation, for formalizing task management, and to share across larger program. * Suggest more efficient ways to run the Division's finances and interactions with CDAO budget and acquisition teams and troubleshoot malfunctions if they arise. * Understand Division priorities to inform Division leadership of things requiring immediate attention vs those that may solve themselves in a day or two. * Prepare presentations and reports for Leadership approval and collaboration; schedule meetings to solicit feedback. * Coordinate and schedule meetings with all parties to gain resolution to unresolved financial issues with all stakeholders and prepare Leadership with recommended talking points Years of Experience: * Minimum of seven (6) years of experience Degree Requirement: * Bachelor's Degree Minimum Clearance Requirement: * Current active US Government Secret clearance U.S. Citizenship: * Required Location: * Falls Church, VA Work Schedule: * Hybrid/Remote, two to three days a week on-site at the Falls Church, VA location Kingfisher Systems, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
