Title: Sr. Release Train Engineer Assignment Location(s): Washington, DC (onsite) Positions open: 1 Estimated Contract Duration: Multi-year contract Required clearance: Top Secret Salary: Please provide your salary requirement Job Description: * Manages and optimizes the flow of value through the ART and Solution Train using various tools, such as the Program and Solution Kanban and other information radiators. * Facilitates Program Increment (PI) planning readiness by fostering the preparation of vision and backlogs, and through pre- and post-PI Planning meetings. * Facilitates the PI planning event. * Assists tracking the execution of features and capabilities. * Assists with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessary. * Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets. * Helps manage risks and dependencies. * Escalates and track impediments. * Improves the flow of value through value streams using the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps. * Facilitates system demos and solution demos. * Drives relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assesses the agility level of the ART and Solution Train and helps them improve.
