1st Shift

Description

  • Assist in maintaining the wastewater systems and equipment performing preventive maintenance.
  • Break down, repair and replace pumps.
  • Diagnose and fix low voltage equipment, D.O. probes, Ph. meters, Level transducers, etc.
  • Repair equipment as necessary
  • Wire motors for equipment, lights and switches.
  • Replace belts and properly align motor and blower.
  • Maintain maintenance logs.
  • Maintain accurate wastewater treatment logs.
  • Conduct basic lab analyses and perform simple calculations.


Requirements

  • Wastewater treatment system operations experience.
  • Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred..
  • Electrical wiring experience prefered.
  • Welding experience preferred.
  • Resume and Certifications Required


Physical Requirements

  • Work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC).
  • Stand 8+ hours throughout work day.
  • Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
  • Regularly lift 50+ lbs. to include moving, lifting, and pushing machinery.
  • Regularly climb up and down ladders.
  • Frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
