Description
- Assist in maintaining the wastewater systems and equipment performing preventive maintenance.
- Break down, repair and replace pumps.
- Diagnose and fix low voltage equipment, D.O. probes, Ph. meters, Level transducers, etc.
- Repair equipment as necessary
- Wire motors for equipment, lights and switches.
- Replace belts and properly align motor and blower.
- Maintain maintenance logs.
- Maintain accurate wastewater treatment logs.
- Conduct basic lab analyses and perform simple calculations.
Requirements
- Wastewater treatment system operations experience.
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred..
- Electrical wiring experience prefered.
- Welding experience preferred.
- Resume and Certifications Required
Physical Requirements
- Work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC).
- Stand 8+ hours throughout work day.
- Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
- Regularly lift 50+ lbs. to include moving, lifting, and pushing machinery.
- Regularly climb up and down ladders.
- Frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
