Work Mode: Onsite

• Prepare or review general and detail specifications for systems and programs to be used on local area networks or SAP.  Analyze the capacity and limitations of equipment, operating time and operating unit personnel to achieve best utilization of personnel and equipment.  Participate with development, testing, and implementation of these systems.
• Direct the operation of SAP and the local area network.
• Coordinate the installation of any new equipment for use with SAP, and the local area network. Includes install and configure of personal computers and related software.
• Responsible for maintenance, repair, and admin of networking, phone system cabling, switch, voicemail, security, and PC hardware and software problems.  This also includes printers, portable printers, and production scanners used within the production and warehouse areas.
• Coordinates the development of test data and implementation schedules to achieve system objectives.  Coordinates set up of training schedules for new systems.
• Participates in conferences with personnel in other departments to analyze their needs and develop specific objectives for meeting these needs.
• Provides analysis, counsel and direction to user and operational personnel assuring efficient operation of existing systems.
• Participates in educational programs and professional societies computer techniques and systems methodologies.

Skills/Requirements

• BS Degree with emphasis in Computer Technology preferred.  Associate Degree in Computer Technology with a minimum of 2 years prior experience acceptable. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft based operating systems.
• 2 years experience troubleshooting and repairing network and computer systems, network infrastructure, printers, and cabling preferred.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
