Opportunity: (2nd weekend Shift 3pm-1am) 


The hourly range for this position is $23.75 hourly,. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.  Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):

Summary:
Assist the Team Leader or General Supervisor of our Distribution Center in achieving departmental goals in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and associate satisfaction.   Assists other Distribution team members in leading the department during any absence of the Team Leader.

Specific Responsibilities

Help provide proper leadership & guidance while maintaining good communications with all plastic associates, plant staff and other facility associates to include their staff members.

Help assign plastic jobs and/or machines to plastic associates daily as required to maintain proper levels of production.
Follow-up on them to ensure they are performing the job as required by our standard operating procedures and/or quality requirements as specified.
Spend most of day on the production floor working with all associates and identifying potential safety, quality, or production risks.

Help maintain 100% on time delivery to our customers by maintaining our plastics stores, Kan ban systems, and production schedules.

Help maintain a safe & clean plant with good working conditions for all associates, while maintaining a high level of morale throughout the facility. Use available tools such as the 5S program for maintaining a clean and safe plant. Actively participate in safety programs such as monthly safety huddles, safety meetings and walk-throughs.

Support all continuous improvement efforts and fully support all strategic deployment targets for improvement throughout the year.

Apply Lean 4 Leader principles to daily shop floor work

Competency Requirements:

Must have manufacturing experience
Management/ Supervisory experience 2 years or more
Minimum of a High School Diploma is a self-starter who is highly motivated has good communication and people skills.
Computer skills with MS Windows or equivalent system experience.
