Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: * Develop, test, and implement next generation systems in cArmy cloud environment * Implement improvements for speed and usability requirements for searching and indexing a 100+ million document repository, adding required data, basic help desk-like support to ensure system operability, and general system administration and maintenance, including security accreditation * Support efforts to leverage emerging technologies including Data Lake, mesh networking, AI and ML, and generative AI to enhance indexing, metadata tagging, administration, management, security, search, access, and usability of the data. Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Current active Secret Security Clearance * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java. * Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks like NodeJS, Express, Angular, etc. * Proficient using version control systems (Git, subversion, CVS) * Web development skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript. * Ability to write efficient, scalable code * Familiarity with AWS/ Azure. Familiarity with cArmy Cloud a plus. * Proficiency with Integrated Development environments such as Visual Studio Code * Ability to design and build user-friendly interfaces. * Understanding of cloud database management, data modeling, querying, and optimization. * Understanding of cloud security principles. * Ability to implement cloud security (access controls, encryption, etc.). * Familiarity with DevSecOps practices. * Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. * Ability to connect systems and services within the cloud. * Understanding of application programming interfaces (APIs), microservices, and event-driven architecture. * Problem solving skills. Education: * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, or engineering Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.
