Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference? We are currently seeking a Night Shift RN to join our dynamic healthcare team.

Position Summary: Under the direction of the CNO, Emergency Nursing Director: andcharge nurses, this position encompasses the provision and management of patient care through implementation of the nursing process, delegation to and supervision of licensed and unlicensed personnel, and coordination of interdisciplinary care.

Minimum Qualifications:
License & Certifications
Current unencumbered Arizona Registered Nursing License
Current BLS certification
Successful completion of arrhythmia course within 6 months from date of hire
ACLS Certification within 6 months from date of hire
PALS Certification within 6 months from date of hire
TNCC within 1 year from date of hire
Experience:
One year ER experience preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and written
Able to work and multitask in fast paced environment
Able to manage, prioritize, and delegate patient care appropriately and effectively
Demonstrates knowledge of common disease processes, treatment modalities, and interventions
Verbalizes knowledge of safe and accurate medication administration principles

Additional Job Functions
Provides supervision of licensed and unlicensed staff to assure safe and effective patient care

Room is kept clean and tidy
Ensure noting is stored in room

Ensure adequate supply of linen on cart
Ensure linen cart is covered
Attends no less than 50% of staff meetings
Timely and accurate completion of supplementary tasks assigned or delegated by CNO, dept. director, or charge nurse.
Able to communicate and model the hospital mission, vision, and goals
Maintains HIPAA compliance
Performs all other duties as assigned
