Join us and grow your career.From your PASSION to oursThe Director of Human Resources (HR) will lead the HR function for our largest U.S. manufacturing site and distribution center, which includes four unique manufacturing plants and approximately 900 employees. This role will oversee two HR Managers, the Manager of Talent Acquisition, and the Manager of Training, ensuring comprehensive leadership and guidance across these functions. Additional functions under the scope of responsibility include Leave Management, Payroll, Benefits, and Security. The HR Director will be a key partner to site leadership, focusing on employee relations, talent management, and strategic HR initiatives that align with business objectives. The Director will also serve as a liaison to Corporate HR, ensuring alignment and integration of company-wide HR practices.From your EXPERTISE to oursKey responsibilities for this position include:Leadership and Oversight: Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the HR team, including direct reports. Ensure these functions are aligned with business goals and HR best practices.Employee Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with department leaders and plant management to guide on employee relations matters, including onboarding, recognition, performance management, and investigations.Talent Management: Partner with the plant and distribution center leadership to recommend and implement programs for employee attraction, retention, and turnover reduction. Drive initiatives for talent acquisition, employee training, and development, enhancing the overall employee experience.Strategic HR Initiatives: Lead the documentation and communication of progressive job titles, skills, competencies, and compensation structures for both hourly and salaried positions. Support alignment with established compensation structures and career progression frameworks.Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborate with leadership to forecast workforce needs and develop strategic plans to address talent gaps, succession planning, and workforce optimization.HR Operations and Shared Services: Leverage Shared Services (benefits, payroll) to enhance employee engagement and appreciation for Total Rewards. Ensure smooth HR operations, utilizing these resources effectively to support plant HR teams.Culture and Engagement: Lead initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture, driving employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts, and promoting company values.Communication and Appraisals: Facilitate employee communication channels and support performance appraisal processes to ensure clear, consistent, and constructive feedback across the workforce.Corporate HR Alignment: Interface regularly with Corporate HR, Legal, Compliance, and Safety teams to ensure site HR practices are aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements.Demonstrate commitment to a safe working environment that promotes the health and well-being of all employees and that will further contribute to the Company s overall performance and success.
