Lancer Hospitlity is hiring a Banquet Manager is Phoenix, AZ. The Banquet Managers primary responsibility is to manage all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring that client expectations are not only met but exceeded. This role encompasses a wide range of duties including planning, budgeting, training and vendor management.  This role is located at an exciting Cultural Attraction!

 

Event Planning and Execution

  • Create and Manage event paperwork inclusive of floor plans and rental orders
  • Oversee the set up, operations and breakdown of events
  • Lead and coordinate the event team, ensuring seamless communication with all stakeholders including culinary, sales, event servers, event barteneders, event supervisors/ coordinators and housemen

Client Relations

  • Maintain effective communication and manage expectations with clients, vendors and team members

Vendor Coordination

  • Liaise with various vendors and suppliers to guarantee that all necessary equipment and services are available and operational for events

Inventory Management

  • Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of in-house equipment and disposables
  • Track and Manager inventory of outsourced equipment

Post- Event Analysis

  • Conduct Post event evaluation including gathering feedback and analyzing data to identify any areas of improvement

Financial Oversight

  • Ensure to adhere to budgetary goals, creatively managing cost while fulfilling stakeholder needs.
  • Collect and submit all invoices for timely payment within Nete 30 terms

 

Must-haves: 

  • Prior Event Management, catering, planning and executing experience
  • Knowledge of Steps of Service
  • The ability to multitask and manage multiple vent concurrently
  • Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Must have an open and flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Reliable transportation to commute between units
  • Valid drivers license to drive company catering vehicles

Compensation:

$50,000 - $54,000
