Lautman Maska Neill & Company is looking for an experienced System Administrator to join their growing team. The role of the Systems Administrator at Lautman Maska Neill & Company is to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently by monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues, to ensure overall security of the Company s IT infrastructure and to manage the overall integration of tech-related systems throughout the Company, with a focus on optimizing our SharePoint platform, managing on-prem cloud migration, and SQL database operations.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience administering and managing SharePoint, proven experience managing on-premises server environments, knowledge of maintaining server infrastructure, virtual machines and firewalls, and will be highly adept at Windows/Linux based servers, online Microsoft services and SQL, working with a hybrid Azure Active Directory (AAD) environment and managing Windows Enterprise Licenses. Experience in data security, digital strategy, and on-prem cloud migration is preferred.

Finally, the Systems Administrator should be a leader in the firm, bringing added value by launching and coordinating technical projects or initiatives that will further develop company offerings, processes, and culture

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the Company s SharePoint platform, including creating libraries, controlling access, setting permissions, integrating applications, analyzing storage, regular maintenance, troubleshooting issues and providing SharePoint support and end-user training,
  • Maintains internal infrastructure requirements including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
  • Manages asset inventory tracking, including purchasing, assignment, and disposal.
  • Manages Microsoft and Adobe licenses and SSL certificates for servers and websites
  • Manages SSL certificates for servers and websites
  • Experience in device provisioning through Endpoint Manager
  • Collaborates with external IT vendor to ensure contractual obligations are met, including data retrieval, data back-up, and data loss prevention
  • Ensures server and networks are protected from physical harm, viruses, unauthorized users, and damage to data by monitoring security procedures and collaborating across departments.
  • Maintain industry knowledge, and offer suggestions/changes with evolving IT best practices
  • Analyze traffic and utilization trends, review usage activity reports, and make adjustments to ensure optimal user-experience
  • Serve as a go-to source to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and provide technical support when needed
  • Monitor storage capacity, storage planning, and database performance

Qualifications

  • 3 or more years experience in a systems administrator role or similar position
  • Solid knowledge of managing SharePoint, creating sites, documenting libraries, and managing organizational security is amust-have
  • Proficiency in SQL and database operations
  • Experience with migration to cloud infrastructure
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multi task, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
  • Microsoft AZ900, MS900, and SC900 Fundamentals Certifications required.
