Description

Leidos National Security Sector is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Project Manager to support a client’s requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in Alice Springs, Australia.  The position requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance and a US Government approved medical and psychological exam.

The Project Manager would be responsible to manage the day-to-day tasks of property management to ensure tasks and deliverables are completed on time and to high standards. The Project Manager will need to adeptly handle a wide range of assignments, projects, and stakeholders with a high degree of success and independence. They must demonstrate leadership skills, effective communication, the ability to manage competing priorities, and possess strong internal team relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for implementation and management of program projects
  • Provide Project Management support to include day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution of material and property control activities to ensure continuous accountability of government and company property in accordance with governing regulations and policies.
  • Provide project support for the escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers 
  • Assist hardware engineering team in resolving equipment configuration questions and ensuring relationships are accurately reflected in property records.
  • Provide Project Management support to maintain control of government property records and constantly monitor consumable supply usage rates and reorder trigger points.
  • Perform quality control checks of purchasing and property records to ensure required data fields are accurate and complete and that supporting documentation has been recorded and uploaded to corporate enterprise systems. 
  • Plan and conduct internal audits and supporting external corporate or Government property audits. 
  • Participate in risk assessments and continuous quality improvement initiatives. 
  • Prepare reports for Division management and Government customers. 
  • Use varied approaches to resolve or collaborate on project or program issues.
  • Support Hardware Engineers with office moves, logistics and other project duties as required to support Customer Mission requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • United States’ citizen with TS/SCI access with a poly. 
  • Requires a Bachelors degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience. Technical experience will be considered in lieu of a degree and evaluated on a case-by-case basis. 
  • Project Management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Proven ability to lead collaboratively and constructively. 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience as a Project Manager on a multi-faceted project 
  • IC Customer Support experience 
  • Mission-specific technical knowledge

Pay Range:

Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
