More About the Role:
The Defense Group of Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a System Administrator to support efforts for the OCONUS Enterprise Network (ONE-Net) portion of the NGEN-R Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract located in Dededo, Guam.

NGEN-R SMIT is the largest IT services program for the Navy, by delivering the OCONUS Enterprise Network (ONE-Net); inclusive of cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.

Responsible for operating and maintaining ONE-Net server and network infrastructure. This includes responding appropriately to alerts and events and responding to incidents from triage through resolution, including escalations, where appropriate. Conduct infrastructure repairs, including directing remote activities to maintain operational effectiveness for services. Provide root cause analysis documentation in accordance with Government procedures. Document daily shift activities in appropriate reporting and ticketing tools and ensure proper pass down of any outstanding issues.

What You'll Get to Do:
•Manage and support IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
•Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
•Experience in administering Virtual Server environments in an operational setting  
•Experience with vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and related VMware tools. 
•Oversee systems and network upgrades, patches, and security updates.
•Implement and enforce IT policies, security measures, and best practices.
•Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
•Lead IT projects, including system migrations, software implementations, and cloud integrations.
•Maintain IT documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, and 
•troubleshooting guides.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
•Requires B.S. Degree and 4–8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2–6 years of prior relevant experience (in computer science, related IT field).
•Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network management.
•Must be a US Citizen and possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
•Compliant with DoD 8570 IAT Level II (CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, etc.).
•Must have CCNP, CCDP, MTA, MCSA, or MCTS Certification.
•At least one Microsoft Server Operating System Certification.
•Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and virtualization technologies.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
•VMware Certified Advanced Professional.
•Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (for hybrid cloud integration).
•One of the following, CASP, CISSP.
•Cisco Certified Network Associate or equivalent networking certification.
•ITIL Foundation certification.
•Experience with automation tools like PowerBI.
•Knowledge of database management and SQL queries. 
•Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.) is a plus.
•Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
•Experienced in supporting DoD Host Based Security System (HBSS), and technical ability to manage the Device Control Module (DCM), Electronic Policy Orchestrator (ePO), Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS), Policy Auditor (PA), and Rouge System Detection (RSD).

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
