The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos seeks a Mission Assurance Analyst for the GSMO_II contract. This position will support the DISA GSM-O II Task Number 07 (TN07) Joint Force Headquarters DODIN. The selected candidate shall, in accordance with mission requirements, provide support to the development of capabilities, new techniques, policies, plans and strategies for Critical Asset Risk Management (CARM) programs and Mission Assurance (MA) and Resilience activities. CARM performs the basic functions of MA defense critical infrastructure (DCI) requirements for identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and overseeing risk management actions for the most critical Department of Defense (DoD) assets in accordance with Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 3020.45 Mission Assurance Construct. This individual will be responsible for the review and analysis of Mission Assurance related programs, validating task critical assets, and defense critical assets by providing subject matter expertise with recommendations to accept, mitigate, or remediate strategic risks.
Primary Responsibilities
Organizes, directs and coordinates the planning and production of activities associated with mission assurance and resilience
Conducts strategic mission decomposition to identify, assess and prioritize risk
Provide recommendations to reduce strategic risk to enable senior leaders to achieve national security objectives
Develops, Implements and Monitors risk reduction solutions and plans of action
Executes risk identification on critical assets for national defense objectives in coordination with strategic missions by sector or DODIN Area of Operation (DAO)
Delivers risk-to-mission, threats, and resiliency reports/briefs to senior leaders
Coordinates mapping of systems of systems architectures to understand critical infrastructure gaps and shortfalls
Develops and Synchronizes MA program standards and requirements
Ability to create processes to manage complex multi-domain critical asset risk management programs
Ensures development of plans to secure, and defend critical infrastructure
Leverages analytical systems to fuse and integrate diverse points of information stemming from critical infrastructure activities
Ability to develop and implement a standardized methodology to examine cyber risk impacting strategic missions
Oversees Mission Assurance and DOD Critical Asset Management System activities
Demonstrates competent writing and oral communication skills
Ensures quality products and services are delivered (Scorecards, Briefs, Metrics)
Basic Qualifications
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance and eligible for C/I Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 8+ years of applicable combined education and experience; additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.
IAT Level II & III Certification
Interpersonal communication
Ability to brief senior leaders and explain complicated concepts easily
Possess analytic ability to work with large datasets
Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework and the Mission Assurance Construct.
Relevant experience in a Mission Assurance related discipline; candidate is able to articulate identification, mitigation and communication of Mission Assurance status and Risk to Mission Success.
Conduct pre-assessment work including data gathering, research, and coordination.
Use of various automated tools, databases, and software programs (MADSS, SMADS, FADE and MARMS) to support assessment activities, prepare observations and recommendations for leadership and staff.
Collaborate with active duty and civil service government staff and counterparts across DOD organizations and agencies.
Ability to translate data into a cohesive narrative and strong visualization that supports actionable recommendations.
Understanding of threats against DOD critical infrastructure.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of Tools
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
5-7 years’ combined experience supporting a service cyber component, combatant command, agency or field activity, DoD Senior Leadership, the Joint Staff, or Special Operations.
Critical Infrastructure protection experience (Physical, cyber, systems, assets and personnel).
Data Science Experience
Networking Experience
Ability to read network topology diagrams
Experience with technical and/or military writing

Pay Range:
Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
